History of the School
Our school was established in 1973 with the vision of providing quality education and holistic development for students. In 1974, it received recognition from the Goa Board. Beginning with a small number of students and teachers, the institution has grown into one of the respected educational centers in the region.
Over the years, the school has achieved excellence in academics, sports, cultural activities, and personality development. In recognition of its continuous progress and commitment to quality education, the school was selected under the Government of India’s PM SHRI (PM Schools for Rising India) scheme and is now proudly known as PM SHRI Government High School Kalay Sanguem Goa from the year 2024–2025.
Today, the school continues to nurture young minds through modern teaching methods, strong values, discipline, innovation, and all-round development.

Our institution is committed to delivering quality education with modern infrastructure, experienced teachers, and strong ethical values. We strive to provide every student with opportunities that support their academic growth and social development.
I appreciate the dedicated efforts of our Headmistress, teaching and non-teaching staff, whose hard work and commitment play a vital role in shaping the future of our students. I also acknowledge the wholehearted support of parents and the community in nurturing our children and strengthening our school.
